South Orange
THE TODDLER PROGRAM
SOUTH ORANGE ONLY
In addition to experienced caregivers we are also guided by the use of our curriculum to focus on the child’s different stages of development. Our toddlers are learning through play with ample time for social emotional development and exploration. In addition we focus on, cognitive, physical and language development of your child. At this stage we introduce the use of centers like dramatic play, sand and water, library and block area to help the children through these different stages. Our toddlers also participate in music and movement and storytime. We also work closely with the families at this stage to assist and guide them as they go through this potty training stage.
Offered only at the 410 Irvington Avenue, South Orange location
PRE-K PROGRAM
Open to children who reside in Maplewood or South Orange
We collaborate with the South Orange and Maplewood School District in their Preschool Expansion Program. This is a high-quality public preschool experience with a research-based curriculum for children from age 3 – 5 years. The class size is maximum 15 children with a certified teacher and a teacher assistant.
The curriculum used is Tools of the Mind (TOM). TOM is aligned with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards. The central focus of TOM is the development of both cognitive and social-emotional self-regulation while academic skills are taught.
This program is open to the children of residents who are legally “domiciled” in the Village of South Orange or in the Township of Maplewood.

The program includes games, sports, music and field trips and a keepsake album. Our Summer Camp program is for 2 year olds and older and parents are encouraged to participate.
